Efficient distillation of heavy residues
The i-Fishermen® DIST D-5236 CC / FISCHER® AUTODEST® 860 AC is a computer-controlled pot still system for the fully automatic fractionation of crude oil residues, heavy fractions, and lubricating oil components according to ASTM D5236.
Fractionation takes place in two vacuum stages with dynamic reduction down to 0.1 mmHg - without manual intervention. The integrated fraction collector with 12 heated plates records weight precisely in real time. The distillation rate is controlled automatically - either via temperature difference or distillation speed via integrated scales.
With a final cut of up to 575 °C AET, the system provides high-resolution data for analyzing complex residue streams. The TBP or Potstill curve is then output.
Applications can be found in petrochemistry, test laboratories and the development of synthetic fuels.
